Ed Smith is a Director, 2D Animator and Illustrator based in London. Alumnus of the National Film and Television School.
He makes 2D animations, often with a mixed media element as well. Making work with a strong visual aesthetic, coupled with psychological depth. His work varies from the character driven through to experimental, loves to combine the two
Ed has experience working on short films, music videos, commercials and TV.
His graduation film Police has been screened at festivals around the world.
His short film Hair was aired on BBC Four in 2018.
